President

Born into a family of entrepreneurs, Conor started a full-service landscape company at the age of eighteen in Pasadena, Maryland.  In 2001, he sold his company to join the family business Gilligan Development Inc.  During his tenure with Gilligan Development as its Land Development coordinator, Conor managed and directed land development and entitlement processes.  Following the sale of Gilligan Development to Technical Olympic USA, Conor was promoted to Director of Land Development for the company’s Baltimore division, where he oversaw fifteen new development communities spanning three states. Conor co-founded Craftsmen Developers in 2007 with his father Dennis and their associate Bob Schultz. He is an active member of the Home Builders Association of Maryland, the United States Green Building Council, an Urban Land Institute, and proud recipient of ULI Baltimore’s 2014 Leadership Award. Conor is an active member of the Greater Severna Park Athletic Association and a past board member with The Providence Center from 2009 to 20019, and the Foundation Board at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

Bob Shultz has devoted the past 15 years of his career as a corporate accountant to the home building and development industries. As the former Chief Financial Officer of Gilligan Development, Bob directed and oversaw the companies accounting and financial requirements.  In September 2004, Bob facilitated the multimillion-dollar sale of Gilligan Development to Technical Olympic USA.  Following the closing he held the position of Vice President of Finance and Operations for Technical Olympic USA, Baltimore Division.  Three years later, he departed Technical Olympic to become one of the founding partners of Craftsmen Developers where he has served since the company’s inception as the Vice President of Finance and Operations.  Bob graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

A second-generation builder, Kris has more than three decades of commercial and residential experience in the Baltimore/Washington area.  In 1996, he joined Gilligan Development as Vice President of Construction overseeing commercial construction and land development operations. Kris was part of the senior management team that organized Gilligan Development’s sale to Technical Olympic USA, and became VP of Land Development for the Baltimore Division. In 2009 Kris rejoined Craftsmen Developers and in addition to his other duties, oversaw all of the company’s field operations. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from St. Mary’s College of Maryland, and is a LEED Accredited Professional and member of USGBC.

In 1983 Dennis founded Gilligan Development Incorporated, a local development and home building company.  Over a period of twenty years, Gilligan Development Inc. grew to a well-respected regional developer and homebuilder with communities throughout Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.   In late 2004, his $50 million-company was purchased by Technical Olympic USA, a publicly traded home building company based in Hollywood, Florida. After fulfilling his contractual obligations as Technical Olympic’s Senior Vice President, Executive Vice President, Land, Dennis founded Craftsmen Developers, LLC with long-time colleague Bob Schultz and his son, Conor, in May 2007. Dennis holds a Bachelor Degree from the University of Maryland in Economics and Urban Studies.  Dennis was the proud recipient of Home Builders Association of Maryland 2009 Lifetime Achievement Award.  Dennis is a long time supported and past board member of Hospice of the Chesapeake.  In 2017 Dennis stepped down from the day to day operations at Craftsmen Developers.
