Craftsmen Developers Announces The Christopher Companies to Build 23 Townhomes at Award-Winning Wharton’s Bluff

Craftsmen Developers, a land development firm headquartered in Glen Burnie, announces that The Christopher Companies, Oakton, Virginia, will build 23 townhomes in its Wharton’s Bluff “Parcel B” townhouse community on Indian River in Millsboro, Del.

According to W. Dennis Gilligan, president and CEO of Craftsmen, groundbreaking on the model townhouse is scheduled for September and the sales office to be open by early 2013. The Christopher Company townhouses are expected to be priced in the $190,000 range.

Phase 1 of Wharton’s Bluff is fully developed with the majority of these 84 homes and townhouses now occupied. Phase 2 or “Parcel B” will have 49 waterfront townhomes when completed.

Craftsmen Developers earned a 4-star Green Land Certification from the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) Research Center for Wharton’ Bluff, Parcel B”, the first such certification on the East Coast and only the fourth nationwide. Earlier this year it was awarded its second 4-star certification for its single family community, Coldwater Reserve, in Severn, Md.
