Craftsmen Developers, one of the region’s leading land development firms, today announced that Ryland Homes has completed the purchase of Cromwell Ridge, a new residential development comprised of 31 single family homes in the Cromwood-Coventry community in Parkville, Md. The Cromwell Ridge neighborhood is situated on two cul-de-sacs at the end of Rushley Road, off of Oakleigh and Joppa roads.
“This sale is one of four major land transactions that Craftsmen Developers has completed in Baltimore County in the last 12 months,” said Craftsmen Co-Owner Conor O. Gilligan. “We are finally enjoying sustained growth which is a testament to these recent transactions.”
“Craftsmen and Ryland share a commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment—an important consideration in our selection of a national home builder for Cromwell Ridge,” Gilligan said. “Plus, Ryland has a long-standing reputation of building high-quality, beautiful energy-efficient homes.”
“Cromwell Ridge is a wonderful extension of the well-established and stable 50-year-old Cromwood-Coventry community,” he added. “ It is close to Baltimore County schools, great shopping, community activities and other amenities of the Greater Towson area, yet off the beaten track, providing an oasis-like setting. With serene and private wooded views, we believe home buyers will love this unique neighborhood.”
“This is an exciting acquisition for Ryland Homes, as it marks the first time we have completed a real estate transaction with Craftsmen Developers,” said John Meade, President of Ryland Homes Baltimore Division. “We are eager to begin building the Cromwell Ridge homes, and look forward to a prosperous relationship with Mr. Gilligan and his team.”
