The Baltimore Grand Prix is shaping up to be one big cocktail party for businesses around town.

With less than two months to go until the Labor Day weekend IndyCar event, Baltimore-area businesses and nonprofit groups are planning their own events or partnering with others in hopes of drumming up new business, raising money or otherwise hawking their brands. And whether it’s trackside, at a nearby restaurant or hotel or in a downtown office building, it really doesn’t matter to some.
