Craftsmen Sells Touchard Meadows

Craftsmen Developers Completes Catonsville Residential Site, Sells to Richmond American Homes –

Construction Now Underway for 22 Single-Family Homes

After five years of a comprehensive entitlement and development process, the Catonsville site formerly known as Touchard Meadows is now complete. Craftsmen Developers first partnered with the Touchard Estate, located at N. Rolling Rd. and Rolling Glen Rd., in 2010, and fully developed the community before selling to Richmond American Homes earlier this year. The builders have announced that construction is underway for the community of 22 single-family homes, now known as Arden Parke.
With pricing estimated to start in the mid-$400,000s, four different floor plans will be available, offering buyers their choice of four, five, or six bedrooms. Each unit will feature up to 2,600 square feet of living space, not including basements.
“We are excited to see the completion of yet another smart growth community in Baltimore County,” said Conor O. Gilligan, Craftsmen Developers’ Vice President of Land Management. “Utilizing land that doesn’t require major public improvements has a real long term benefit for both the existing residents and future home buyers.”
“This exceptional new home community offers inspired floor plans with abundant personalization options to bring a homebuyer’s vision to life,” said Jeff Ott, Richmond American Homes’ Division President. “Residents will enjoy quick and easy access to shopping and dining along Frederick Road in historic Catonsville, lovely parks, downtown Baltimore attractions, plus the close proximity to I-70 and I-695.”
Arden Parke is located across the street from Western Hills Park. The community is zoned within the districts for Woodbridge Elementary School, Southwest Academy Middle School and Woodlawn High School, according to Baltimore County records, and is in close proximity to many private schools.
The new home sales will begin mid-November, with limited-time grand opening incentives for the first group of buyers. The model home and sales office is expected to be finished in January 2016.
